iKON releases Goodbye Road performance video teaser
iKON released performance video teaser for their upcoming title song Goodbye Road.
The teaser drenched in muted colors focuses on Chanwoo, Donghyuk and Yunhyeong both visually and vocally giving us a taste of the song that leaves us craving for more. Dancing is softer as it befits the song and in signature style of song choreographers Kinjaz who have previously worked with iKON on Love Scenario and Killing Me.
As we are approaching the end of the best teasing period iKONICS have ever experienced it is up to us to do the most with it. To help iKON’s visibility in preparation for Monday release please like and watch the teaser on Naver.

iKON releases the first lyric narration video for Goodbye Road
On the heels of the track list release for the New Kids: the Final mini album, iKON released the first lyric narration video for Goodbye Road featuring Jinhwan and Donghyuk looking pensive and gorgeous. We can look forward to videos of other members revealing more about the song.

Jinhwan: “If you’re going to leave anyway, live the best possible life with no regrets. Leave me and live happily.”
Donghyuk: “Everyone goes through a break up so let’s not be too sad. I’ll try to find someone that is alike but not quite similar to you.”
Looking at lyrics it seems that non-toxic breakup songs are becoming iKON’s signature. Love comes to an end but there is no blaming of the person that left, accepting the end of love as part of life and growing up. A healthy message for sure.
This is the third comeback for iKON in 2018 but it is already a standout by the quality and timeliness of its teasers. iKON is present in the media and on variety shows prior to the release itself and not 10 days to two weeks after its release (if at all) , which was the usual practice before. One has to be blind not to notice the difference in the approach to iKON promotions and the quality of the same. We do not know what happened to bring about this change but we sure welcome it.
How Bobby Made a 6 Year Old’s Day!
It started with a whimsical Birthday wish by a 6 year old from an extraordinary family; and by extraordinary I mean the famous #TeamKramer of the Philippines consisting of a Basketball Player Dad, an Actress Mom and three spunky and adorable kids who as a family have become social media darlings of the the Philippines with a following in the millions!
Earlier today young Scarlett Kramer informed her parents over dinner that she wanted iKON’s Bobby to perform at her 7th birthday party. It was not an odd request as before now the family have proven to be huge fans of iKON’s music and the children have been known to rock out with their parents to Bling Bling on their morning school runs – talk about motivational music! Love Scenario, iKON’s most recent mega hit, has also received a lot of love from them.

When Scarlett made her request, like a true fan she was specific about the song, asking for “Saranghae” (I Love You) the title track off Bobby’s 2017 first solo album, “Love and Fall.”
Rather than laugh off her request her parents took to social media to make a heartfelt request to Bobby to come to the Philippines and perform at their daughter’s 7th Birthday. In the same video Scarlet shed cute tears to prove her conviction and Team Kramer fans were asked to help the message go viral so it would reach Bobby in South Korea.
If the little Scarlett’s tears were not enough to move your stony heart then prepare yourselves as the story grows even more heart warming. Not even up to an hour later Bobby’s put a message up on Instagram Live! It was his response to Scarlett! In it he sings her a birthday song personally with the help of fellow iKON member Donghyuk and sends her heartfelt birthday wishes!
As you can imagine the family of fans were besides themselves with shock and delight that reverberated throughout the iKONIC fandom! Everyone experienced the duality of well wishing and envy of that sweet little girl who got Bobby’s personal birthday wish!
The happy go lucky family was quick to record a response from the kids thanking Bobby and sending love!
Finally as if to prove the cultural relevance of this special family the entire thing was reported almost immediately by ABS-CBN News, one of the biggest TV Networks/News portals in the Philippines.
And so the sweetest little drama began and ended in less than an hour and one is left wondering along with Pinoy iKONICs if this could be the start of a real push to finally see iKON perform in the Philippines. If such a dream could come true we already know which famous family will be in the front row!
I wasn’t crying while typing this you were.

iKON members filming for iKON TV?
Today iKON members were spotted filming in various parts of Korea.
Bobby and Donghyuk were seen filming in Seoul in Jinhwan’s sister’s cafe Platte.

iKON breaks 100 hourly Perfect All Kills for Love Scenario!
At 3PM KST on February 17th, history was made for iKON when they reached their 100th hourly Perfect All Kill for their title track, ‘Love Scenario’.
‘Love Scenario”s success continues to skyrocket, even from a brief lapse in chart figures over the last few days. It seems that ‘Love Scenario’ just can’t stop taking the world by storm.

iKON takes over Instagram
Today, after the Music Core performance iKONICS were treated to a surprise to beat all surprises.
All iKON members opened public Instagram accounts at the same time and proceeded to bomb the Instagram with photos, videos and comments trying very hard to make up for the last two years of radio silence.
iKONICS used to scarce and slow updates were completely shocked and overwhelmed with the sudden influx of content.
Not even a day after opening their accounts all the members have over 200 000 followers.

14th Vnight Broadcast!
As promised the previous night, through his channel plus post, Donghyuk returned to us for more nights of fun, counseling, as well as satisfying fans’ curiosity. A total of four well-picked songs were played during the broadcast, which will be listed listed below:

Because earlier in the day, iKON delighted us with a film teaser for their comeback, Donghyuk greeted fans by playing the infamous ” iKON is coming to town!”, as sang in Anthem.
Shortly after, he continues by teasing Yunhyeong. It seems that 혹시혹시 [hoksihoksi] is running joke among the members these days, as mentioned by Junhoe and Jinhwan just a couple of days ago. Long story short, it seems like Yunhyeong’s battery died while he was watching a movie, and he asked for a charger in a robotic voice.

Based on preference, it seems that Donghyuk thinks Hanbin’s room is decorated the best, while Yunhyeong’s room doesn’t lack anything. He went as far as describing it as “living in a house.”
Moving onto one of the main highlights of the evening, he confirmed that iKON will be indeed returning with a full album. Although there is no certain confirmation on how many songs, or which songs will be included, the prayers of many iKONICs have been answered, as we will finally get to listen to more songs from these talented boys.

Onward, Donghyuk manages to rise expectations for the comeback by saying the MV and song have a different feeling from anything they’ve recorded before. He even went as far as saying it feels like first time shooting a music video. Based on his words, he’s looking forward to the title song as much as iKONICs, which brings excitement all over.
Considering the broadcast was a short one, Donghyuk bids us farewell with promises that iKON have recorded a couple of varieties for this comeback. The wait seems to be getting shorter and shorter, right?

Let’s start, shall we?When Donghyuk dedicated his day to us to show us his routine, from waking up, to the last blink of his eye, it was an adventure: to cooking for his hyung, to exercising and chatting comfortably.
Always making sure that fans feel appreciated and loved, we have Donghyuk always noticing his fansites with a heart sign to ensuring that his fan’s safety comes first.
His love for animals! From taking care of beloved Obang, he’s displayed adoration towards cats, and even tigers!
The way he interacts with children. We’ve seen how big his heart is, but the way he displays warmth and patience just makes you want to love him even more!
His Vnight broadcasts, meant not only to make us smile, but also a time for fans to openly express worries and receive advice in return, that would make one think that you are chatting with an old friend.
When he showed his unconditional love and support for his members! As an affectionate person, Donghyuk easily spreads good vibes, offers a hug and laugh for his hyungs, and supports solo activities as well. He attended Bobby’s event, and showed up as panelist for Daesung in Fantastic Duo 2. He also never removes their friendship ring, as it’s the most treasured accessory to him.
We’ve seen many sides of Donghyuk when it comes to dancing. From cute, flirtatious, to unexpectedly sexy with practiced technique. the way he effortlessly moves on stage makes it impossible for you not to love him!
His strong wish to build a hospital in an undeveloped place. A literal angel! It’s a wish he’s been having since debut day, and it’s heartwarming to know he’s still thoughtful.
His Dazed Photoshoot. Donghyuk has shown us overflowing charisma, without loosing his sunshine appearance, through different outfits that suit his personality.
Let’s not forget Santa Donghyuk, who’s brought us a lot of joy and laughter with his unexpected appearance, after having won (yes, won!) a rock, paper scissor game.
2nd Anniversary Chill and Vlive with iKON
On Sept 15th, iKON celebrated their 2nd Anniversary by warmly meeting with fans via V Live.
Despite having flown into Japan that day followed by a long bus ride to Nagano, the venue for the Concert scheduled for the next day, the boys made a concerted and much appreciated effort to appear before fans on their special day.
The boys couldn’t quite disguise their travel fatigue and Bobby who just released his solo debut album the day before was still en route to Japan and so wasn’t present. Despite it all the boys showed a cheerful spirit and teased each other a lot.
If you are a long time fan of iKON you know that wether their broadcast is a hyper one or a chill one there are certain staples you can expect:
– A Flow of Consciousness discussion style
– Dragging each other
– Teasing one member or the other
– Digressing
– TMI
– A LOT of helpless giggling/laughing
– Unconscious affectionate moments
– Candidness
– General silliness
– The feeling of being part of a group of childhood friends
This is iKON’s style and their great charm.
The highlights of iKON’s 2nd Anniversary Greeting included:
– Congratulating Bobby on his album, and Donghyuk singing an excerpt from ‘Secret’.
– Yunhyeong’s skin condition since returning from the Jungle (not great😂)
– Chanwoo’s low participation rate in group activities and shyness at bath houses (to get them to stop teasing him he had to threaten to expose them all😆)
– Hanbin’s favorite song in Bobby’s album is “Swim” but when iKON sang it it turned into a song about Yunhyeong’s beard?
– Donghyuk shows his 7 piercings which represent iKON
– Jinhwan brings up taking things slow and lasting long and Hanbin let’s us know that this is also his principle for pooping
– The boys talk about their iKON rings: only Junhoe and Dong are wearing theirs and the rest give their excuses😅
– Junhoe’s knowledge of members birthdays is tested: he only remembers Dong’s but members praise him because his margin of error has greatly reduced
– The boys express wishes to be with iKONICs for thousands or even millions of years and hold concerts in heaven😂
They rounded up their VApp so they could have an even more intimate one with fans on their Plus Channel.

iKON held two Concerts in Nagano yesterday and are scheduled to hold 3 fan meetings in Osaka tomorrow.
Bobby participated in both Concerts then flew back to South Korea for pre recordings for his Inkigayo stage. When done he will rejoin the rest of iKON for the Osaka fan meets tomorrow (please take care, Bobby!)
